Dry Paddocks offers boutique luxury self catering accommodation amidst the vines of the Waipara wine region of North Canterbury, just 45 minutes north of Christchurch and its International airport. The holiday house is purpose built for the discerning traveller looking for comfort and quality.
With two generous bedrooms, each with their own individually styled bathroom, the self contained holiday house can accommodate two couples, or one couple and two singles. Guests have sole use of the holiday home. Choose between a queen sized bed and bathroom with luxurious French bathtub, or a super king bed (can be split into two singles) and bathroom with a large walk through shower.
Our bathrooms have heated towel rails, hair dryers, heaters, bathrobes and NZ made Evolu toiletries. We value the restorative qualities of a good nights sleep and feather pillows and quality linen ensure this.
Completely self-contained, the open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with basic pantry items. The dining area opens onto sunny decks and private outdoor courtyards with alfresco dining and gas barbecue, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a bottle of complimentary local wine and nibbles. Breakfast provisions which are included in the tariff, include local manuka smoked bacon, free range eggs, tomatoes, homemade muesli and yoghurt, a seasonal fruit dish, fruit juice, ready to bake croissants and Rachel Scott bread.
The heated swimming pool is available in summer, swimming towels, sunhats and sun-screen are also provided.
Surrounded by farmland and vineyards this country retreat is the perfect romantic weekend escape, or base to explore the North Canterbury area further.
